Coquitlam River Trails

Today with have a guest rider with us... Rick's son Greg. He rides 2018 Haibike - 27.5" wheels, hardtail. Being a beginner rider, he did extremely well keeping up with us. The Coquitlam River Trail (POCO Trail) is is our main stay trail... our best of the best trail ride.

His old Haibike will be used for his volunteer work with the Port Coquitlam Park Patrol

This is one of our favourite trail, POCO trail, River trail... goes through Colony Farm, with a diversion through "Essondale properties). It is a fairly long ride, but with the e-bike... no problem!

Unfortunately, someone really like my "old" (almost new) Haibike and stole it right from my rear carrier. BCAA came through without problems... now upgraded to the Cube bike pictured below.

August 15, 2018 - Harward Lake Trail - M & H

Merrill and I decided to tackle the Harward Lake trail again... this time on our e-bikes. I have done this trail with our regular bikes, but it proved very tough due to the amount of hills. With our E-Bike, we hoped to flatten the hills a bit... well the hills still were very steep for us old timers. But was very nice and worth doing it again (only part).
