Rick and I have been at this resort a few years back, riding our regular mountain bikes (not electric). We used the chairlifts and rode down the single track trails back to the bottom. Hightly recommend to use elbow and knee pad protection gear (you can rent these from the rental outlets), The trails are good for use old timers, but when you fall... it hurts!
It is a wonderful mountain... a must do again!
We found Sun Peaks Resorts to be a mini Whistler... having a neat village with all the amenities you except in a top notch resort... Hotels, Condos, chalets,Pubs, Restaurants, Shops, rental areas, etc. A wonderful place to sit back, relax, have a drink, after a good day riding.
For accommodations, our recommendation is the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel ...for a few dollars more it is worth the extra... the fine dining in the hotel was beyond great! The found the outdoor hot tubs to one of the many highlights.
