second title

Thanks to the introduction of E-Mountain Bikes, (pedal- assisted), this has now become an activity us old timers can partake. These bikes take the "grunt" out of climbing the hills and going the distance, making it a relaxing, enjoyable ride.

Our comments on this mountain resort...

"The Silver Star mountain bike trip was an amazing adventure outside of the lower mainland into the mountains. We learned what these e-bikes are capable of... making our rides very enjoyable and relatively effortless. It was a fantastic way to learn what we can do with the help of these bikes.

We also enjoyed the fantastic scenery and alpine smells along with the well-maintained trails.

All the mountain and rental staff were very helpful to us old timers. We hired the services of tour-guide from the rental center... he was fantastic! knew his "stuff" and the layout of the mountain trails.

Our accommodations at Snowbird Lodge were well appointed including a hot tub and a barbecue to cook our steaks. I can hardly wait to return for another ride up to 6200 ft".

Recommendations:

Hiring the services of a tour-guide on your first day up; they know where the best trails are suited to your riding ability.
